Eastman Dance Company will visit Turkey for the first time on May 1 and May 2 to perform their latest show "Play" for Istanbulites. According to the statement released by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Culture, the dance company, which is composed of the most shocking and successful Belgian European choreographs under the leadership of Flemish choreographer and dancer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, will perform at Cemal Reşit Rey Performance Hall. "Play," which enchants the audience by presenting a universal story with a rich and original narration, will take Istanbulites on a journey from the concrete to the abstract, Physics to metaphysics, from acrobatics to stability with mysterious steps. Considered as the most successful choreographers of this century, Pina Bausch's emotional support helped tremendously during the creation of "Play."
