Curated by Terence Pepper, the senior photograph advisor at the London-based National Portrait Gallery, the exhibition "Cecil Beaton: Portraits" displays portraits of renowned artists, actors, authors, intellectuals and royalty from the 1920s to the 1970s. Borrowed from the collection of Sotheby's Cecil Beaton Studio Archive, the works of the multi-skilled photographer features Audrey Hepburn in "My Fairy Lady," Marilyn Monroe and the Rolling Stones. Beaton also proved himself as a war photographer during World War II where he recorded the fighting in Africa and the Middle East.
