Canadian pianist Lubomyr Melnyk will perform for Istanbulites tomorrow at Salon İKSV. Influenced by the minimalist music movement of the 70s, Melnyk received a top class classical music education. He released his first album "KMH: Piano Music in the Continuous Mode" in 1979 and collaborated with Peter Broderick, Nils Frahm and Robert Raths. Regarded as one of the quickest-fingered concert pianists in the world, Melnyk is known as the pioneer of the "Continuous Music" movement.
