Coen Brothers' latest masterpiece, "Hail, Cesar!" is one of the most hilarious Hollywood satires in cinematic history. Opening the Berlin Film Festival this year, "Hail, Cesar!" centers on a guy named Eddie Mannix, an executive director working in a Hollywood studio, who spends his time saving his contracted movie stars from scandals rather than making administrative decisions. During shooting of the studio's most assertive project the historical epic "Hail, Cesar!" everything turns upside down when the film's leading actor Baird Whitlock is kidnapped. While the traces of Coen Brothers' unique dark humor are seen on every frame, "Hail, Cesar!" also draws attention with its star-filled cast.
