The "Name, City, Violence: Contemporary Art Exhibition," which questions whether humanity become accustomed and desensitized to violence or not, will be on display at Yüksel Sabancı Art Gallery until May 30. Today, individuals as well as nongovernmental organizations try to raise awareness in the public about the violence that we witness in every part of social life. Our reactions to the incidents are also shaped according to social norms. In order to produce a solution for every kind of violence, regardless of all social, sexist and authoritarian norms, we need to stick together and act together. Education and art are the most important tools that will help us in our fight. The artists contributing to the exhibition take responsibility and raise their voices in the way they know best: Through art.
