Lute player, percussion virtuoso and Istanbulite Yinon Muallem recently released his album "Offlines," which brings Muallem's Turkish and Jewish identities together with a sound bearing the traces of different cultures. His album consists of tracks that are very different from each other but represents a surprising fusion. Muallem's latest album reflects his musical background and the spirit of modernity, which makes "Offlines" the most mature and original album of his discography. Muallem will perform his new songs at Akbank Sanat with Guy Mintus. The duo will be accompanied by Elif Çağlar, who was also a guest artist that contributed to "Offlines." One of the strongest voices of Turkish jazz, Çağlar recently released her first English album "M-U-S-I-C," which is produced, performed and composed by a female Turkish jazz performer.
