Crime and Punishment Film Festival to screen ‘Shepherd'

The 6th International Crime and Punishment Films Festival will take place at the Atlas and Feriye theaters in Istanbul from Sept. 30 to Octo. 6 where viewers can enjoy a screening of "Shepherd," the story of a middle-aged shepherd named Anselmo who leads a tranquil life across the plains in Spain in a remote and humble abode. When he rejects the offer of a construction firm, Anselmo has no idea that his decision will turn his life upside down. When he realizes all the surrounding acreage has been sold, he realizes that rejecting the deal was a mistake which leads to an array of problems and ultimately causes his neighbors to become blinded by greed.
