Master of kemenche and bağlama, Dagestan-born Mark Eliyahu, a man of deep melodies, will come together with the music lovers for a musical feast at MEB Şura Hall in Ankara on Nov. 4.
Feel the soul, tears and joy of Middle East and Balkans in the harmony of percussion and strings.
Embarking on his musical journey with his musicologist, composer and tar player father's inheritance, Mark Eliyahu turned to Turkish, Iranian and Azeri music after being unable to find what he was looking for in violin. He was tutored by Irish-Greek descendant Ross Dally and Baku-born musician Adalat Vazirov. He performed at Nobel Prize Award Ceremony with the Philharmonic Orchestra and amazed the crowds at international festivals such as Piyot Festival in Jerusalem, International Oud Festival, Jewish Festival of Krakow and the prestigious Fabrica Festival in Italy.
