World-famous artist Chaled Res Aram's latest exhibition "Nothing" is set to be displayed at the Istanbul-based art gallery Gallery Eksen from Dec. 1 to 14. Aram, known for seeing beyond the aesthetic and visual music of Arabic letters, creates unique pieces that move beyond the design, principles and rules of calligraphy. Treating the Arabic letters as a delicate body with their unique and original curved shapes, depth and dimensions, the artist is not concerned about creating tangible text, instead he transforms the letters into an optical experience by utilizing their unique visual perspectives. Following his exhibition at Contemporary Istanbul on Nov. 3, the artist will prepare an exhibit of his latest works at Gallery Eksen's stall at the 26th International Istanbul Art Fair on Nov. 12. His exhibition "Nothing" can also be seen at Gallery Eksen's exhibition venue from Dec. 1 to Dec. 14between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
