İş Sanat will host young talents, cellist Selin Nardemir and violinist Muhammedjan Sharipov as part of its Parlayan Yıldızlar (Shining Stars) concert series at Millî Reasürans in March. Born in 1993 in Istanbul, Selin Nardemir started her cello studies at the Istanbul University State Conservatory in 2002 with Prof. Sevil Gökdağ. Having her first orchestra experience in the Doğuş Children's Symphonic Orchestra (DCSO), Nardemir participated in The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra and Cihat Aşkın Ensemble in 2016.
Nardemir graduated from high school and university as the top student and received a merit-based scholarship at the Turkish Educational Foundation's (TEV). Born in Tashkent in 1994, Muhammedjan Sharipov started to play the violin at the age of seven. He went to the Antalya State Conservatoire in 2003 and the Music Preparatory High School at Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in 2009.
He won the International Violin Competition "Remember Enescu" in 2015. Sharipov studies in Salzburg Mozarteum University with Prof. Harald Herzl. Nardemir and Sharipov, who will prove their command over their instruments in their special performance, will perform on March 27 at 8:30 p.m.
