Booklovers to meet at Haydarpaşa Train Station

Istanbul's historical Haydarpaşa Train Station hosts the ninth Kadıköy Book Days June 3-11. The Kadıköy Municipality announced that this year's guest of honor at the event, which consists of 180 publishing houses, will be Füruzan, with an autograph session on opening day. At the event, 835 artists and authors will hold an autograph session.

Offering 86 conversations, the event will bring together several authors, poets, journalists, actors, scientists and philosophers with literature lovers in Istanbul. Throughout the event, which will offer the chance to read in wagons, attend conversations and meet with authors, children, in particular, will have fun via several workshops beneficial for them. As part of the event, which will also host screenings by the Short Films Collective, movies, such as "On the Rails of History," "In Out" and "The Train," will be shown.
