İDSO to perform in South America

The Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra (İDSO) is going on a tour in South America. Under the direction of conductor Milan Turkovich, the violins will be played by Vadim Repin with vocalist Rebecca Hartmann.

The orchestra will be performing between June 18 and June 30 with the organization of Dr. Martin Ochs and Konzert und Tourneemanagement and will be playing in Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Chili. The orchestra will be in Sao Paulo on June 20-21, the Rio de Janeiro State Hall on June 22, Peru's Lima Grand National Theater on June 24, Buenos Aires's Teatro Colon on June 26 and Santiago Art Center on June 28. İDSO will open their concerts with "Telli Turna" from the famous composer Nevit Kodallı and will also play songs from Sibelius, Dvorak and Max Bruch.
