Fashionist, one of the most prominent fair organizations in the textile and clothing industry, brings together domestic and international fashion professionals at the Lütfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Center and Istanbul Congress Center and will run from today to Jan. 16.

More than 700 fashion professionals and buyers primarily from Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia, Germany, France, Italy, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Libya are being hosted at the event.

Fashionist will feature evening gowns, wedding dresses and suits. Designer Tuvana Büyükçınar will exhibit her brand at the fashion gala show on Jan. 16.

More than 30 wedding dress and evening gown designs will be introduced at the gala show, previously scheduled for Jan. 13, but postponed to Saturday Jan. 16 due to the heinous terror attack that took place in Sultanahmet Square on Tuesday.

Fashionist hosted approximately 40,000 visitors with 250 participating brands and boutiques, generating $500 million in trade volume in its first two years.
