Istanbul Fashion Week returns with makeover

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul returns to the city with the Fall/Winter 2017 collection. The fashion week was given the green light yesterday with shows by Cihan Nacar, Burçe Bekrek and Özlem Sürer.

This year, the fashion week is located at Grand Pera on İstiklal Avenue for the first time. Moreover, this year, fashion lovers will have a chance to purchase the looks they see on the runway at pop-up stores that will be open at Grand Pera. The stores will remain open for a month, offering customers a sneak peak of the trends that will hit the streets next year.

Apart from veteran Turkish fashion figures such as Tuvana Büyükçınar, Özlem Süer, Mehtap Elaidi and Deniz Berdan, fashion week followers will have a chance to take a look at collections by young and upcoming designers. Organized for the ninth time, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul will host three men's wear collections as well. The fashion week storm will come to an end on March 24 with a show by Gülçin Çengel at Grand Pera.
