Turkish teams fought on three fronts on Thursday in the Europa League. Osmanlıspor, named after the Ottoman Empire, continued to make history in Europe another memorable win, this time against Romania's Steaua Bucharest . They have won seven out of 10 games in Europe and have never lost. Continuing their winning streak, Osmanlıspor beat Steaua 2-0 on Thursday in the first match of Group L in the UEFA Europa League.

Their first goal came from Cheick Diabate, who netted from a penalty kick in the 64th minute. Aminu Umar scored Osmanlıspor's second goal in the 74th minute. Osmanlıspor's coach Mustafa Reşit Akçay also continued his successful streak in Europe. He has won 15 of 19 matches in Europe in his career and has never lost.

Fenerbahçe, who have been struggling in the Spor Toto Super League, continued their poor form. The Yellow Canaries managed to nab a point at the last minute in the UEFA Europa League Group A match against Ukrainian team FC Zorya Luhansk on Thursday. Fenerbahçe's central defender Simon Kjaer found the net thanks to a deflected shot in the 96th minute at the Chernomorets Stadium in Odessa, to tie the game 1-1.

The first half of the match in Ukraine saw the two sides testing each other, but the second half began with a bang as Luhansk's midfielder Dmytro Hrechyshkin scored a sensational goal from 25 meters out for the 1-0 lead. In Group A's other match, heavily favored Manchester United were beaten by Feyenoord 1-0 in Holland. Feyenoord's goal came in the 79th minute from 21-year-old Tonny Vilhena.

Meanwhile, Ukraine's Shaktar Donetsk beat Konyaspor in the first match of Group H. Facundo Ferreyra scored the match's only goal in the 76th minute.
