Twenty seven ships of Turkish Naval Forces paraded through the Dardanelles Strait that was forced by the Allied navy a hundred years ago on March 18. Out of the total 18 Allied ships, three ships were sunk and three others were heavily damaged by sea mines and land batteries, forcing the Allies to launch a land campaign that caused high casualties on both sides and ended with Allied defeat.
