Turkish police detained on Wednesday seven ISIS-linked suspects in three cities including İzmir.
The İzmir Police Department launched an operation on Wednesday based on allegations that some militants entered Turkey from Syria. 22 residences were targeted in the operation, and seven people were detained in three cities: Isparta, İzmir, Erzurum.
The police forces have confiscated two guns, flags allegedly symbolizing ISIS, and documents suggesting that those detained belonged to the terrorist organization.
The detainees were later taken to the anti-terror branch of the İzmir Police Department.
