Police carry out anti-terror raids, detain 6 suspects in Istanbul

Turkish police on Tuesday have detained six suspects in Istanbul's Çekmeköy and Fikirtepe districts under the scope of the anti-terrorism operation.

According to reports, the police have raided apartments and detained suspects, two of whom were specified to be women.

The suspects were taken to the hospital for medical examination, and were then brought to the police headquarters for inquiry.
