According to a new decision released by the cabinet on Thursday, the families with low-income will be supplied with 500 kilograms of coal for the winter.
The applications, for the free coal, will be assessed by the provincial and district social welfare and solidarity foundations and the provincial governorate will be notified about the results of the assessments.
The delivery and logistical arrangement for the free coal will be standardized according to the criteria set by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
The quality of the coal to be delivered has to meet the Regulation for Controlling the Pollution Caused by Heating, the Environment and Urbanism Ministry announced.
The new decision is set to be implemented as of January 1, 2015.
