Trabzon a haven for healthy living, business

The northeastern Trabzon province in the Black Sea region has been announced by Forbes Turkey magazine as Turkey's most livable and business-friendly city.

The magazine analyzed the most livable and business-friendly cities by taking into consideration various criteria ranging from education, health, security, transportation, green zones, the quality of air and adequacy of potable water.

Two years ago, the city was also announced as Turkey's cleanest city. With its history dating back over 4,000 years, the city brings many tourists with its natural and cultural heritage like the Sumela Monastery, Uzungöl (Long Lake) and highlands rich in plant flora. In the list, Trabzon is followed by Muğla and Eskişehir.
