Taylor Swift has garnered more than 60 million Instagram followers, the pop star revealed with a post on Christmas Eve. "Well would you look at that," Swift said in the post. "Thanks for the 60 million followers situation guys!" she said in the post.

Her post attracted nearly 1 million likes in just 12 hours. Kim Kardashian is second on the list of most Instagram followers at 55 million, while Beyonce is in a close third with 54.6 million. In October, Facebook Inc.-owned Instagram confirmed its top five accounts for the first time, with the 25-year-old pop singer Swift leading the pack with 49.6 million users at the time.
