Organized by the fair organization İZFAŞ, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir will start tomorrow and run until Feb. 5 in the city's biggest fair area, known as "Fuarİzmir." IF Wedding Fashion İzmir will continue to promote Turkish brands as it celebrates its 10th year.
Wedding dresses, suits and evening gowns will be on display, appealing to future brides and anyone with classy taste. This year, 25,000 professionals from 75 countries are expected to attend the fair, aiming to meet their goal of $200 million in exports.
Among the fair's notable guests, Italian designer Alessandra Rinaudo will grace the stage on Feb. 3 to talk about the wedding fashion trends of 2017 and the design of her newest bridal collection.
A wedding dress design contest will also offer young stylists the opportunity to be discovered by prominent brands. Tuesday night's gala will commence with a fashion show by Rinaudo.
The fair will be held in cooperation with the Aegean Clothing Manufacturers' Association (EGSD) with the support of the Economy Ministry, the İzmir Chamber of Commerce and the Fashion and Apparel Federation (MHGF).
More than 20,000 professionals from 70 countries and 74 cities visited the 9th IF Wedding Fashion İzmir last year. Participating countries included Albania, Bahrain, Iran, Italy, Russia, U.S., Sweden, the U.K. and France, along with many others.
