From Tuesday to July 10, a six-day international yoga festival will be taking place in the coastal town of Didim's Akbük Bay. The program will include 24 yoga classes. The sessions are divided into different categories like meditation, breathing, relaxation, bio-energy techniques, yoga for weight loss, film screening and an interactive theoretical class.
Participants are advised to bring their own yoga mats. Classes will be delivered in English or Spanish depending on advance notice and the festival will be held under the guidance of yoga masters. All classes will take place at Akbük's Ramada Resort. Thanks to its location overlooking Akbük Bay, the hotel provides a wonderful visual feast. For children, there is a mini club, entertainment activities, a children's pool and a play garden.
Formerly a small fishing port, Akbük is located at the foot of sloping mountains and extends along a beautiful turquoise blue bay. Although not a popular tourist resort, Akbük offers a tranquil atmosphere for visitors.
