Organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the Ümraniye Municipality and the Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey, Summer Scout Camp will be held in the Hekimbaşı City Forest for children between the ages of 10 and 15. The camp offers an alternative for children to enjoy their summer in Istanbul.
During the camp, children will enroll in several educational programs aimed to promote personal development. Through socialization, they will also be taught teamwork, while discovering new things, earning an appreciation for nature and expanding their creative thinking skills. During the experience, the children will enjoy several programs including: Scouting, personal development, radio communication, first aid, traffic, environmental awareness, painting, music, theater, swimming, cycling, badminton, climbing and orienting, along with other exciting topics.
Being held from July 17 to Aug. 21, applications are now being accepted. Parents and children who are interested in the camping adventure can register at Ümraniye Anatolian İmam Hatip High School and Ümraniye Municipality's Directorate of Youth and Sports.
