A Canadian entrepreneur who has been mining cryptocurrency for the last two years uses the heat that comes out during the mining process to grow plant and fish farming.
Living in the province of Manitoba, Bruce Hardy mines cryptocurrency with 30 mining machines in a 1,850-square-meter building. The Canadian entrepreneur discovered that he can use the heat instead of finding ways to cool the machines down.
With the heat that comes out from the mining machines, Hardy feeds a total of 800 trout and plants that grow without soil. He also uses the waste water that comes out from his fish farm as fertilizers for his plants. Manitoba attracts companies that are involved in cryptocurrency mining as it is one of the coolest spots in North America.
