The Rahmi M. Koç Museum offers various alternatives to families who want to spend quality time with their children during the semester break. There are various workshops for children from Jan. 22 to Feb. 2.

Children will both have a good time and learn in workshops organized by the museum throughout the semester break. The workshops will help the social and cultural progress of children and also educate them while allowing them to use and improve their creativity. Children will also get the chance to go on a tour of the museum and design what they see according to their own dream worlds. Designed for different age groups, the semester breaks schedule at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum is as follows:

*A biology workshop, "Come on, Let's be brothers and sisters," will take place on Jan. 20 and is designed for children between the ages of 10 and 13, offering the chance for children to become scientists.

*On Tuesday, Jan. 23, children between the ages of 8 and 11 will be welcomed to the "My Dearest Bee" workshop to take place in the world of mathematics section of the museum.

*A painting workshop, "My Dearest Fingers," aimed for children between the ages of 4 and 6, will take place at the Fenerbahçe Ferry on Jan. 24.

*"Bird House," designed for children between the ages of 8 and 10, is a workshop offering children the chance to see birdhouses and to design their own birdhouses on Jan. 25.

*Children between the ages of 8 and 12 will get the chance to design their own school bags in the "My School Bag" workshop, which will take place on Jan 26.

*"Journey to the Solar System," an astronomic workshop, will take children between the ages of 11 and 13 on a journey to the solar system on Jan. 27.

*"Talking Statues" will offer children between the ages of 4 and 6 the chance to design their own statues by using stones, clay and play dough on Jan 31.

*The first day of February will welcome children between the ages of 9 and 13 to the "Creative Paintings" wood workshop where they will design their own paintings.

*On Feb. 2, the "Come on, Let's be brothers and sisters" workshop will again take place, taking children on a virtual journey in the body and teaching them the biological structure of the human body. Then, they will keep their own DNA in the necklaces they design.
