The cars, cups and clothes of Turkey's renowned drivers, who have an important place in rally history, will debut at the Retro Rally exhibition at ANKAmall until Feb. 4.
The exhibition will draw aficionados to view the memorabilia of legendary names who have raced in the Turkish Rally Championship between 1960s and 1990s including Mustafa Koç, Hasan Kalaycı, İskender Atakan, Serdar Bostancı and Emre Yerlici.
Coordinated by Can Ünlü, a veteran motor sports program presenter, and organized by Ankara Automobile Sports Club (ANOK), the event looks to improve the number of sportsmen in Ankara, draw attention to motorsports in Turkey and bring together the biggest names in rally racing with fans.
The top three racers with the highest points will also be given cups at the exhibition and there will be autograph sessions with today's drivers and navigators.
The exhibition will also feature a corner for Ankara's rally winner Hasan Tuna Kalaycı and the opening shall take place on Jan. 21, Sunday at 3:00 p.m. with former managers and sportsmen from the rally scene.
