The Israeli army said Wednesday that it attacked a military cell it accused of planting explosives in northern Gaza.
One person was killed and three others were injured in the attack, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza told Anadolu Agency.
"Musa Zaeyter, 31, was killed by shrapnel from an Israeli airstrike in western Biet Lahya in northern Gaza," ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qedra said. "Three other Palestinians were injured."
In response, the Gaza Hamas government warned against Israel's "continued aggression against our people in Gaza."
"Israel bears the responsibility for this aggression and its repercussions," Hamas said in a statement.
