The Music for Peace Foundation will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special concert at Zorlu Performing Arts Center (PSM) on Nov. 15. The foundation's Vivaldi Orchestra for children aged 7 to 12, Mozart Orchestra for those aged 10 to 18 and Beethoven Orchestra for those aged 14 to 19, will be directed by five conductors.

The foundation's artistic director, Sascha Goetzel, permanent conductor Samuel Matus, instructor Özmen Genç, cellist Nihan Türkyılmaz and the instructor of the Vivaldi Orchestra and violinist Ebru Kara will be on stage as conductors. With 300 children on stage, the concert will present pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Brahms and Strauss. The guest orchestra will be the Eskişehir Tepebaşı Children's Symphony Orchestra. More details about the concert will be available in the upcoming days on the foundation's website barisicinmuzik.org. Concert tickets can be purchased at Biletix box offices or through the website zorlucenterpsm.com.

Ticket prices vary from TL 25 to TL 100 ($8.64 to $34.57). The revenue will be donated to the Music for Peace Foundation. Initiated by architect Mehmet Selim Baki and Yeliz Baki, the initiative aims to offer free music education to children and eliminate barriers to art. So far, the foundation has offered music education to almost 5,000 children. The foundation wants to present peace through music. In 2012 the foundation became a member of Sistema Europe, which includes 29 European countries. Their work was announced as one of the best practices of Sistema Europe. In 2014, Jose Antonio Abreu, the founder of El Sistema in Venezuela, and Eduardo Mendez, the director of Fundamusical Music Foundation, concluded an agreement with the Music for Peace Foundation, allowing it to be a part of El Sistema.
