İstanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) will open the new art season with a recital by Turkish pianist, İdil Biret, at its Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center. Biret, one of Turkey's classical music prodigies, will perform the works of Bach, Handel, Chopin and Beethoven.
The recital is scheduled for 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9. Every year, İKÜ hosts distinguished artists and groups at the auditorium and art center on its Ataköy Campus.
With a capacity to host 750 people, the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center will host renowned artists and groups throughout the year, including Fazıl Say, İncesaz, Kalben, Büyük Ev Ablukada, Haldun Dormen, the Taksim Trio and Zeliha Berksoy. Tickets for the event are available on Biletix.
