Azerbaijan's president will visit Ankara to attend the fifth meeting of the High-level Strategic Cooperation Council, said Turkey's presidency on Tuesday.
Ilham Aliyev will arrive on January 15th to attend a cooperation meeting of the two countries to be chaired by Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Azerbaijani leader.
The two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation.
"The regional and international developments that interest the two countries will be discussed," a statement from the presidency added.
Political, economic and cultural cooperation as well as trade volume between the two countries are among the issues that are expected to be discussed.
