The Ankara-based Objective Research Center (ORC) recently conducted a public survey from April 7 to April 9 on main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) voters, which found that the 59 percent of respondents were not happy with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as party chairman.
According to the survey, 59 percent of CHP voters participating in the survey believe that Kılıçdaroğlu has failed to be an adequate leader for the party. Some participants believe that the party turned into a sectarian party with the removal of fundamental political principles.
The poll results also show that the 72 percent of participants were in favor of dismissing deputies from the party who support or are affiliated with terrorism. In addition, the survey's further found that 44.5 percent of participants think that former CHP Chairman Deniz Baykal was much more successful than Kılıçdaroğlu.
