Turkey's largest real estate company's sales down in 2014

Emlak Konut, Turkey's largest real estate investment company, announced on Tuesday that its sales were down 33 percent in 2014.
According to a statement by the company to Borsa Istanbul's Public Disclosure Platform, the company sold around 10,000 independent units in 2014, compared to 15,095 units in 2013.
"The units' worth was 5.3 billion Turkish lira ($2.3 billion) VAT excluded," the statement said.
Emlak Konut has sold more than 70,000 independent units since 2003, with net profits of 734 million lira ($316 million) through Sept. 30, 2014.
