In last nght's UEFA Europa League play-offs, Beşiktaş beat Alania by 3-0. Trabzonspor tied 0-0 to Athletic Bilbao and Bursaspor lost 2-1 at home against Anderlecht.

In last night's first leg of the play-off round for the UEFA Europa League, Trabzonspor managed to secure an advantage despite being left with ten players on the field. Beşiktaş has secured a spot in the group round with last night's successful win.
Trabzonspor played an away game in Spain against rivals Athletic Bilbao last night. In just the 6th minute, player Burak was thrown from the game, however they continued to hold their own defense-wise and with a 0-0 draw have secured an advantageous score for the return leg. Russia's second league representative Alania was hosted by Besiktas last night. Goals scored by Sivok, a penalty shot by Guti and Almeida secured a 3-0 win and an open door to the next round in the UEFA Europa League. Bursaspor took the lead with a goal by Vederson however Anderlecht's equalizer, which came in the form of a penalty shot by Legear was followed with another goal for Anderlecht by Jovanovic, securing a 2-1 win. It may be a matter of miracles for Bursaspor to make it past the play-offs.
