Italian Stefano Gross posted the fastest time Sunday in the first run of a World Cup slalom race, with overall leader Marcel Hirscher placing third. Gross leads Norway's Henrik Kristoffersen who won the giant slalom on Saturday by .01 seconds and is .08 ahead of Hirscher heading into the second run later Sunday. Hirscher is looking to win the overall title for the fourth straight season and is also competing with German Felix Neureuther for the slalom title. Neureuther had a poor first run and finished in 14th place.
