Patriarch Bartholomeos led the traditional Spring and Sunday Mass in Cappadocia yesterday.
A number of Orthodox from Switzerland, Greece, Russia and Turkey participated in the mass, while also lighting the candles placed on a table near the church's entrance and made wishes. Speaking after the mass, Bartholomeos stated, "We have not com e here from somewhere else, we were born and have grown up here. Turkey's development in any aspect is an issue of great pleasure for us."
