One of Taksim’s most iconic structures, The Marmara Oteli, will soon undergo renovations to the tune of 20 million dollars.
Explaining that the group is in a complete regeneration process, The Marmara Collection CEO Hüseyin Öztürk states, "We started with the actual brand first and have now moved on to our hotels and other buildings. We will be completely renovating the hotel in Taksim Square. We have begun working with the world's leading experts the American based company Wilson Associates on a project that would be suited to Ottoman and Turkish architecture and have finished the first phase."
Stating plans to renovate the company's hotel in Taksim for 20 million dollars, Öztürk also explains they will be opening a hotel in New York with a 200 million dollar investment and are also currently scouting out locations for a hotel in Istanbul's Maslak district.
