Rasmussen who heads to Ankara prior to the April 14th-15th NATO meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers, to obtain Turkey's viewpoints, will meet with both Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu separately during his stay.
Expected to arrive at 12:45 to the Etimesgut Military Airport, Rasmussen was then expected at the new Prime Ministry building. Taking a break from the ongoing Council of Ministers meeting, Erdoğan was to meet with NATO Secretary General Rasmussen at 13:30. Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and Minister of National Defense Vecdi Gönül were also expected to join the meeting.
After the meeting with Erdoğan, Rasmussen will then head to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to meet one on one with Davutoğlu at 15:00. After the meeting, which is expected to last for an hour and a half, Rasmussen will then depart at 16:50 from the same Etimesgut Military Airport.
