Turkey’s population to surpass 84.2 million in 2023

According to figures released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) from a study entitled ‘Population Projections 2013-2075,’ Turkey’s population will have risen to 84,247,088 by 2023.
The study shows that Turkey's population will experience a slow rise until 2050, after which it will begin to revert back to lower figures. The population is expected to peak in 2050, reaching 93,475,000, however by 2075 calculations show the population will have regressed back to 89,172,000.
