Certain individuals supporting the protesters have been providing ideas of means and methods to damage public vehicles. According to the laws in Turkey, these forms of provocative activities are considered criminal acts and as a result prosecutors will be taking action to fulfill the duties of law.

Ankara Municipality Mayor Melih Gökçek recently shared a tweet by famous actress Şebnem Sönmez and followed up by asking the question, "Is this woman an actress or a provocateur?"
Ankara Mayor Melih Gökçek shared the tweet by famous actress Şebnem Sönmez in relation to the May 31st police intervention of Gezi Park in which she states, "You can see firefighting trucks trying to supply TOMA's (Riot Control Vehicles) with water. If they ended up with a flat tire, they wouldn't be able to drive in the direction they were headed, isn't that right? ..)"
In response, Gökçek asked, "Is this woman an actress or a provocateur? The Ankara Mayor also stated, "I am inviting the prosecutors to fulfill their duty."
