Soma Coal Mining Enterprise states no illegal workers were in mine

MANISA — The Soma Coal Mining Enterprise made a second statement regarding the disaster that struck Manisa on Tuesday. In the statement, the company claimed that there is still no convincing evidence about the reason of the explosion of a power transformer that caused a fire in the mine. It is added that each employee has health insurance which means no illegal workers were in the tunnels during the disaster. The company also emphasized that all workers are members of the Union.
