A worker died, three others injured on Wednesday as they crashed to the ground from the ninth floor in Ankara.
The bottom platform of an elevator used in a 17-floor tall building construction broke off, causing the workers to fall to the concrete ground from the ninth floor.
Injured workers were dispatched to hospitals, while the police started an investigation.
On Wednesday, Anadolu Agency reported that an elevator industrialists' association declared 70 percent of Turkey's elevators unsafe.
