A civilian has been shot and wounded in the southeast in an attack that is being blamed on the terrorist PKK organization. The incident happened late Monday evening when two masked and armed individuals, claimed by police sources to be members of the PKK's youth wing, opened fire in a local bar in Diyarbakır province. The pair entered the bar in the Silvan district, reportedly shouting political propaganda for 10 minutes, before asking the locals there to stand up. The militants then shot at one of them, identified only as Murat K., for being late to stand up and wounding him in the leg. Police sources say the attackers then escaped.
