Two miners die in Burdur province due to gas poisoning

Two miners died, three others were hospitalized due to gas poisoning in a chromium mine in the southwestern province of Burdur's Yeşilova district on Sunday.

The dead miners were identified as cousins Ömer Özcan (35) and Engin Özcan (34). The health conditions of the hospitalized workers were reported fine.

Burdur Governor Hasan Kürklü has stated that an investigation will be started into the incident.
