The Greek coast guard deflating a migrant boat in the Aegean Sea off the Karaburun district coast in Turkey's western province of Izmir was recorded by Turkish fishermen.
Greek coast guard is seen deflating the boat with a spear-like tool, then quickly drifting away as a Turkish fishermen boat approached, without harassing the vessel unlike their usual practices.
The incident took place in Turkish territorial waters as the boat was heading to Greece's Chios Island.
Around 50 migrants, including women and children, were rescued by the fishermen.
Migrants rescued by Turkish coast guard and other vessels have long claimed that their boats were being capsized or deflated by the Greek coast guard.
