Wet week ahead, heavy rain expected throughout Turkey

Most parts of Turkey will experience heavy rain during the Qurban Bayram (Feast of Sacrifice) holiday, according to weather forecasters. Although the temperature has been above seasonal norms for some time now, the temperature will drop 3-6 degrees Celsius in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia and Black Sea regions. On Wednesday, thye eve of Qurban Bayram, Marmara is expected receive heavy downpour. The Aegean and western Black Sea regions will then see significant rainfall on Thursday while other parts of the country are predicted to be partly cloudy. On the third and fourth days of the holiday, it is supposed to rain throughout eastern Marmara, the eastern Aegean, central Anatolia and the eastern Black Sea coast.
