Turkish gendarmerie troops have detained on Sunday four Turkish citizens and 14 foreigners who were en route to join the Daesh terror organization in Syria.
The suspects were found when their cars were stopped at a check point in Kilis, a border province to Syria.
The gendarmerie found that ten of the captured suspects were in contact with Daesh terrorists in Syria, while the other eight suspects were identified as children due to their age.
The detained suspects will be transferred to legal authorities after their statements are given to the gendarmerie.
