As a symbol of good ties between the two countries, Czechia fixed the broken chandeliers at the Turkish Parliament, manufactured decades ago by a Czech firm.
The chandeliers were damaged when pro-coup troops attacked the Parliament on July 15 and they were handed back to the Parliament Tuesday in a ceremony attended by visiting Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek.
Zaoralek said he hoped the chandeliers will remain illuminated eternally as a sign of Turkish-Czech friendship.
