A Turkish plane flying from Moscow to Istanbul was forced to land in Ukraine's Odessa after a Lithuanian passenger "created trouble" during the flight.

According to unnamed sources, the passenger disturbed other travelers, made frequent and questionable bathroom visits and told the cabin crew that he was not feeling well.

The pilot decided to make an emergency landing in Odessa after he was informed of the situation by the cabin chief after obtaining necessary permits from Ukrainian aviation authorities.

The passenger was taken by security officials to a police station as the plane took off again for Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
