Adnan Jerri Shmail, a 68-year-old man who was the last bodyguard of deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, was found dead in his home in the southeastern Turkish province of Şanlıurfa yesterday.
Media outlets reported Shmail died of a heart attack while the results of an official autopsy on his body were not disclosed.
Shmail moved to Turkey after Saddam Hussein was executed in 2006.
